don’t insult ‘popular’ roleplayers. it’s disrespectful and unnecessary. none of us ASKED to become popular, we worked our asses off and we wrote and wrote because hey??? we like to write??? and we’re good at what we do and people noticed that??? there’s a lot of pressure on us to deliver to high standards, a billion threads and asks and whatnot and we’re constantly being watched by people — please don’t call us ‘snobby' or describe us as 'big names who don’t care for the little guys.' this irritates me greatly because as someone who’s been here for two years and built their blog from the ground up, followers and all. who are you to judge us and insult based on a hobby? it’s extremely sad and speaks for your character if you look down on and insult a roleplayer solely based on their popularity.

moral of the story:

don’t insult popular roleplayers.
don’t insult un-popular roleplayers.
don’t insult roleplayers in general.

get your head out of your ass and respect one another, simple as that.

when straight girls take pictures of themselves kissing their female friend on the cheek and caption it “lol we’re such lesbos/dykes/lezzas” or some other lesbophobic slur

something I accidentally discovered today! (I’d imagine a lot of color theory stuff was involved with computer fonts that makes them readable and not all pixelated)

I’ve seen a few fashion posts trying to expand the “Marie Antoinette is not Victorian” rant, but this stuff can get complicated, so here is a semi-comprehensive list so everyone knows exactly when all of these eras were.

Please note that this is very basic and that there are sometimes subcategories (especially in the 17th century, Jacobean, Restoration, etc)

And people wonder WHY I complain about History/Art History periodization. Note how much overlap there is to the above “eras”, and how many exceptions and extensions there are to these categories.

Oh, and by the way…
